Metal Fittings Series for Aircraft Lavatory

This metal fittings series is purpose-engineered for commercial aircraft lavatory environments, covering faucets, sink strainers/filters, door locking mechanisms and ashtray assemblies—the foundational hardware system for lavatory function and safety. Faucet bodies utilize 304/316 stainless steel or lightweight alloys, featuring durable cartridges and aerators in a compact, abuse-resistant structure that resists clogging and enables swift maintenance without full removal. Sink strainers/filters employ corrosion-resistant metal baskets with anti-clog flow guides, effectively trapping food particles and debris to prevent drain line blockage. Door locking mechanisms strictly comply with 14 CFR 25.820—any locking mechanism must be capable of being unlocked from the outside without special tools, eliminating the risk of occupant entrapment. Ashtray assemblies, as a mandatory airworthiness safety configuration, must be provided as self-contained, removable units conspicuously located on or near the entry side of each lavatory door per CCAR 25.853 / FAR 25.853; constructed of stainless steel or anodized aluminum, their self-contained design safely manages improperly discarded cigarettes, making them critical components on the Minimum Equipment List (MEL). All fittings meet CCAR 25.853 / FAR 25.853 Appendix F​ flammability, low-smoke and low-toxicity requirements, validated through corrosion resistance, vibration and endurance cycle testing.
